Resemblance

All she ever wanted was to just feel her moms love/
All she ever wanted was a simple kiss and hug/
All she ever needed was just to feel she belonged/
All she ever needed was just a bond that was strong/
What she got instead was a twisted form of love/
Instead of getting her mom it was another man to hug/
Another man brought in by her mom to do damage/
Then another and another more than she could manage/
More than she could take this must be rape/
But its her mom that’s forcing this onto her plate/
Onto her mind’s stability its broken down with each blow/
With each painful memory coming from where..She doesn’t know/
She can’t answer to herself why someone she loves could do this/
But her mom has a simple reason “Your like your dad deal with it”/
See her dad left years past but she keeps all of his characteristics/
Mostly her face which gets her mom to have men try and fix it/
Every night she comes home knowing the fate that lies ahead/
Maybe it would just be better if she was found lying dead/
Should just leave the earth there’s obviously a reason why/
She gets treated so badly maybe It’s easier to just die/
To just fall out of others minds there’s not too many here anyway /
Who care enough about her to change her mind and stay/
There is one though her boyfriend always there for sympathy/
But it’s hard for her to even love him as she wonders “Why is he in love with me?”/
How can he care so much knowing he shares me with other men/
How much he really cared showed once the drama finally begins/
It’s January 1st the first day of the year/
Only resolution she had was no more tears/
No more fear at night coming home to brutal pain/
No more hurt for her heart that comes down like frozen rain/
She takes charge calls the police and tells her whole story/
Thinking “This will work out I have my love here to support me”/
The police show up start asking questions to the mother/
Every questions is answered with “She’s lying” why did she even bother/
Why did she even try to foil her mom’s thought out destiny/
Then she remembers she had pictures of all the damage that’s been done to see/
So she runs in the house pulls them out and brings them to show/
The cops ask her mom what is this ”I don’t know”/
How can you say you don’t know you brought this upon me/
The cops then spoke ”Ma’am can you please come with me”/
Starting to cry the young girl thought she’s finally free/
As the mom looks up “You think you’ve beaten me?”/
With a smile the mom goes for how long she doesn’t know/
But for this moment the girl can let a free smile show/
No more pain will she feel she rejoices with boyfriend/
Maybe now her heart can mend a new life can begin/
Two days pass as the investigation starts to die down/
Sitting in her room surprised when her mom comes in “Your going to die now”/
Behind her mom stood 3 men all with devilish smiles on/
Jumping to her feet reaching for the phone for 911/
No they cant help you now dear your fate is death/
As the men finish their work she dies and they’ve left/
The last breathe she had “How could you do this to me?”/
The answer was as simple as before “You remind me too much of your daddy”/
