Forgone conclusions, misread lives, dropped out souls
Strived for nothin, wasted time, achieved no goals
Then comes the end of life, followed by the after-life
Ended by a knife, glorious to end a life of strife
Cindred spirit roam the country, searchin forever more
A lifetime of containment, now its yearning to explore
No more being held down, captured by shackles and chains
The soul lasts forever, yet the body has no remains
The body is left to rot, as the spirit rises out
Eager to get away, roam free, independant to run about
It is said that a spirit comes back to those that it loved
Yet how can a spirit come back to earth...
... if in life it was always unloved
