It's actually better if it's broken up into different tracks because then you can apply effects seperately to the differenct sections.
Once you finish a track you can save it as a wav (higher quality) or an mp3 (lower quality). If you save it as a wav then you can easily convert it to mp3 using Music Match software later on.
