^ yes, he will destroy you for being gay, seemingly. But he also says that you must respect ALL people. By hating fellow humans, no matter how blasphemous you think they are, your going against God's own wishes.

First thing you need to realize is that it is God's choice whether or not these people are sinning; not yours. You just stay out of other people's lifestyles, and "let God handle it".

If you are so religious, respect God's word and be moral and decent to all people and let Him decide on whether they should go to hell or not; you have no business saying "your going to hell to people".

Ask yourself this (and it does happen) - what if a child was born an accident, and the father in truth, was gay? That child would be raised by his gay father and straight mother, because the father has some responsibility. According to you, the kid should distant himself from his dad, because his dad is gay... but what happened to "Honour thy mother and thy father"?
