IP:

hey peeps I wrote this piece a few weeks back and I'm juss droppin it now so tell me what u all think muchly appreciated thanx in advance. peace.

flowin to - Good Times (sick pimpin) by Atmosphere

Verse #1:
now I knew these 2 kats back home, who used to grow/
always havin a constant flow, of Cheeb and tha good blow/
snort then smoke, is how these 2 peeps enjoyed a toke/
till one day, their bad habits caught up and stripped them broke/
funds were runnin low, jobs from where they be thrown/
mom’s din’t want em, so they were tossed out from home/
next thing u know, they livin on the streets of Detroit’s roads/
scramblin for cash, and a quick toke or smoke, flat broke/
but their time wasn’t done, this time they weren’t gettin shunned/
cuz an old friend came by and picked em up, to lead the drug runs/
now they livin in the highest of class, lookin back at the past wit a laugh/
but lets not get ahead to fast, cuz we all know that these things neva last/
I guess u could say that everything happened so fast/
one minute they rollin, next they find themselves in a clash/
the room covered in black, those kats was masked/
the moments of sadness, have finally come at last/
but a voice came in through the silence, and said/
“u fucked with the wrong man, u 2 are dead”/
suddenly 2 shots are heard, then sweet blood red/
rest in peace were the final words, at the funeral bed/
those 2 peeps, fucked around with the wrong type of heat/
ripped off their old friend on the deal and tried ta take the reap/
endin their little story short, cold while them 2 sit 6 deep/

Hook:
it’s what has to be done, their’s nowhere ta run/
afraid of not seein the sun, cuz it’s down to earth/
just disperse the thoughts, cuz they got u locked/
producin all the shock, cuz it’s down to earth/

Verse #2:
I still remember little Suzy, damn so fine she was/
with the long blonde hair, blue eyes, an big jugs/
what I would give, to have one touch, just one kiss/
on the lips of that fine assed bitch, but it din’t hit/
cuz that girl, pissed her life down the draining swirls/
of life, she juss couldn’t put up the damn fight/
cuz drugs was this girls game, heroine and cocaine/
ended up meltin her brain, put her back in first grade/
and poor little billy, the worst of cases, crystal meth/
mixed with Ex, I swear the kid literally saw death/
but would someone please, explain this to me/
as I plead, what’s with drugs and these peeps?/
But Please excuse, if I don’t understand, this information/
gets confused, and sometimes I’m not able to stand/
but let’s get this back on track, cuz I got one more story/
bout my good friend pat, no matter where he’s at/

Hook:
it’s what has to be done, their’s nowhere ta run/
afraid of not seein the sun, cuz it’s down to earth/
just disperse the thoughts, cuz they got u locked/
producin all the shock, cuz it’s down to earth/

Verse #3:
yes Pat, a great friend of mine, we used to have the funnest of times/
when we had those nights where we’d nearly smoke ourselves blind/
late grade 8, the first time we had the sweet taste and the pastes/
which we so hate, cuz we could neva find a fast quick drink/
and we suffered when we tried to eat, couldn’t even sleep/
bad dreams that creep, woke up in tha mornin, mellowed and beat
but after the habit started the weeks started to fly by, to months/
years, until we hit our highschool lives, damn those the best of times/
till one day, pat started gettin into the white powder, cocaine/
god rest his soul, for cyanide was the last thing to go up his nose/
god damn, who the fuck knows who did it, some bitch juss playin tricks/
but I guess pat’s the one who decided to hit it, but why? Was it a grudge?/
Some sort of beef that pat wouldn’t let me know, juss let it how it was?/
I dunno but the shit’s juss fucked, that’s why I quit the drugs/
could no longer handle the mush, or the pot, cuz every act/
reminded me of pat, it’s weird thinkin about the past, that’s wack/
but now, here I am, rappin at my best, never wishin early death/
gotta live out my life to the best, like what pat had always said/
before he met his tragic, dreadful, and unfortunate early end/
so for some final words, best of wishes to u all, look quit the drugs/
they ain’t good for u all, and if u eva feelin lonely, juss think back/
cuz good times are always mixed with the bad, that’s that/
and that’s why I stick with the down to earth on this track/

Hook: (x2)
it’s what has to be done, their’s nowhere ta run/
afraid of not seein the sun, cuz it’s down to earth/
just disperse the thoughts, cuz they got u locked/
producin all the shock, cuz it’s down to earth/
