actually if you lean back the blood goes into your throat...the purpose of leaning forward is let the blood get out...
i had to take a first aid class 3 yrs in a row....and heres a quote from a health site:
"Sit or stand upright to slow the flow of blood in the veins of the nose. Don't tip your head back. "
meh...i found proving this fact more interesting than doin' my English literature coursework.
