I like to write. So what?

Maybe I don't have the most fitting name for my style and maybe I don't come out with pieces every other fucking day, but that is me. Some consider me to be a good writer, others don't. I really don't care about my level of talent. I just write to get thru the day easier and it keeps me sane.

This topic appears on every site I have ever been to since I started joinging Hip-Hop boards. It is the same shit over and over again.
So-and-so used to be here, man he was so dope.
The old vets would destroy the site now.
These new cats are so weak.

The problem is that people don't realize that those people are gone, and they only reason they appear to have godly talent is because we were newbies when they were vets and we were still developing our own writing styles. Now as we have progressed and gotten better, we look at the newbies and think they are weak. The same will happen with the newbies once they come around. It is a Highschool life cycle. Get used to it.
