I saw one when I was 10 or 11. This is when I lived out in 29 Palms, CA which is the desert. My fam was in the car coming home... my brother was shakin' me with one hand while looking out the window... I leaned over and out in the sky was the brightest red light... it wasnt moving or anything... it was just there.... kinda like a star ya know.... we turned to get out parents and when we looked back about 3 seconds later it was gone...
