when "ready to die" arrived
Then bigg's flows I memorized
No suprise that I verbalized
At lunchtime I was the first to rhyme
Battling all contenders
opponents were useless
Then I heard canibus's music
metaphors and analogies now flow like fluids
A battle was useless but imminent
The bell always rang we never finished it
Then after school battles were arranged
Challengers get in your face
Close enough to headbutt you
occasionally they'd cut you
I was cut too
Too much beef chased me
So I layed the mic down
It was either the mic
Or I lay my life down
5years later I start again not to backdown
I'm 19 and people get clapped now
all my friends push packs to stack stacks
I sit back and sell stolen berretas and macks
Will rap save me from the streets I work
