I scope my range and begin to prepare to face the day
I cope with being deranged and swear to make my way
searching through clouds of struggle for the reasons aboding
usurping my crown through treason and defeating my coding
silent life through fiction, I find myself questioning the answers
violent sight afflictions, I unwind the festering of the cancers
truth be told, I'm a different man now, unafraid of discovery
excuses are old, time to wither and be bitter over my recovery
I searched, I found, I no longer feel the pain from this burden
I smirked, I growled, and I'm stronger now because of it....
