She Sits, Alone

IP:

Chorus

A howl that pierced the silence, ringing loud to deaf toned ears,
While pixies danced along the fence, unaware of earthly fears.
The woodfly gazed upon the ground, in turn seeps in the sun,
Still her tears inject the water, and poison them, every one.

Alone, in the dark land she calls her home, forged from materials bare,
Weathered by wind, rain and stone, she combs her hair,
Silky slides through her fingers, dead from scratching, not a care,
The world abandoned all her friends and in turn, neglected her.
Needs a plenty fell to none, in the evil stare of burning sun
Trickling light in all directions, blinding eyes till day was done,
Over her shoulder she threw her dignity, her trust, her world, her love,
In actions unholy to the Lord, she was spat on from above,
She stared on as angels teased their wings more beautiful than hers,
Her feelings, changed with ease and like the breeze, took to the air,
Blossomed over natures wonder, depression shook the trees,
The water curdled, smashing rocks that fell to her disease
Tears formed from innocent eyes, her face cast upwards, t'ward the skies
Crying out in sheer frustration, should forgiveness soon arise,
No answer..all she hears is the screams from inner souls
Rising to the 'heavens' they have no say, and no control,
They will go where sins will have them, light bathed the young and old,
While one lone fairy, sits alone, dying in the cold..

Chorus

A howl that pierced the silence, ringing loud to deaf toned ears,
While pixies danced along the fence, unaware of earthly fears.
The woodfly gazed upon the ground, in turn seeps in the sun,
Still her tears inject the water, and poison them, every one.
