I honestly don't see us losing many members to Cprogs site. I mean, he has no talent over there to build on. What is going to attract members to flock over there? Unless he has something HUGE under his sleeve, I don't see the activity of this site dropping at all.

I will be modifying certain leagues, and maybe setting up a tourny or two. As for the d/r'ing of vets, I'm not quite sure I know what you mean. I agree that 'bigger names' on RB do sway votes just for the fact of who they are, but thats just human bias. There really is nothing anyone can do about it. If you think of a solution, PM me.

Ok, well.. why would I want to see the same threads over and over again? Recently, a member just created a thread about 'favorite movies.' So, I closed it. It had been posted a few weeks prior to that. I even upped the older thread for him, and it was in the best interest of everyone. He had his 'favorite movies' thread with tons of responses, and I cleared out another doubled thread topic.

As for EI and HHL, only thing that is going to change is it will be ran even better. Cleaner threads, with more meaningful posts. With C-section modding those forums with Loki, I think these two forums can only get better.
When I was running the site, I didn't allow any alias except for people that would PM me about them. I granted a certain few people aliases beacuse they could no longer elevate as their current member name. Everyone would see their member name, and vote for them. How can you elevate if you are just getting d/r'd in every battle and OM you drop? You can't. That's the LEGIT reason for you to have an alias. However, once this split happens, I am banning all aliases I find that the person didn't inform me about beforehand.
Now, don't make such a long post again, as this took me WAY too much time. Thank you.
