Clear Channel suspended Howard Stern's Show yesterday for not meeting their new broadcast decency standards saying "Clear Channel drew a line in the sand today with regard to protecting our listeners from indecent content and Howard Stern's show blew right through it". Protecting our listeners? I'm sure nobody is forcing the listeners to turn on the radio and listen to Howard Stern. If they mention something on the show that is offensive, I'm sure the listeners have the power to turn it off or go somewhere else. Why do we need someone to "protect" us? Censorship sometimes annoys the hell out of me.
