Every Christmas has been great...

But to pick one...

GOT IT....

My favorite christmas, by far, had to be the one this year...
I can still taste our Christmas Eve dinner, roasted deer...
Had the whole family over, for a Christmas party...
Listening to The Beatles Christmas with Paul McCartney...
Everyone was there, except for my pop...
I wouldnt see him till the war in Iraq stopped...
Me and him had many good times, and tonight i missed him the most...
Every Christmas we'd serve the food, and our favorite was the pot roast...
When it came time to do it this year, I felt all alone...
My mom took me aside, i guess my amotions were shown...
I started to cry, and she started to rub my back...
My dads life is at risk, he wont even get a plaque...
It was like he was over there for nothing, while Bush is sitting in relaxation...
And my father's over there protecting Bush's ass and our whole nation's...
I later went to bed and woke up early in the morning...
So much snow on the ground, it was a state of emergency warning...

WENT DOWNSTAIRS....

Presents under the christmas tree, hopefully i got what i asked for...
Some clothes, a microphone, and a tv..best christmas for sure...
Than I looked in the stocking, there was a lot of candy for me...
But the best give was the microphone to help me be an emcee...
I gave my mom her present, a jewelry box i made at school...
It had had favorite colors and music played, it was pretty cool...
The door opens, speechless i run into the arms of my dad...
No more reminiscing on memorys cause there were more to be had...

WAKES UP....

Phone ringing, i get outa my bed and answer it...
It was the general of my dads unit, he had been hit..
My mom picks up and i go back and lay down...
Finally hits me, my dad will never be around...
So many emotions caught in me, i wanted to burst and scream...
That shit had to be my best Christmas, even if it was only a dream...
