jay, em, common, and rakim are all dope with the lyrics. nas was on illmatic and at times on his other CDs. biggie was ok, 2pac said the same words over and over but had a good flow and descent ideas for tracks. az ain't shit to me cept for a few older nas collabos. nas brought the best out in him. big L seemed like he's canibus's counterpart or something. never liked the dude. ebonics was ok or what ever that track was he did.
