you don't know that she's broke, and you don't know that she's a refugee...all you know is that she's hispanic

so you took the fact that she's hispanic and categorized it as mexican

and by calling her a poor mexican refugee...

that basically stereotypes all mexicans...cuz you just assumed that she was poor and a refugee based on the fact that you considered her a mexican

it doesn't mean you're a racist...i'm just pointing out why it could seem that way
