A real tragedy
IP:
lonesome in a world overcrowded by people//
we all struggle, but they seem to not see us as equals//
prepare for a sequel, history repeats itself//
we’ll always be enslaved, we defeat ourselves//
the ones who teach have failed, hopin we excel//
many fight to survive, the others be in jail//
few live off well, but only cause a quotas involved//
these lucky portioned tokens supposedly get the problem solved//
but not at all, that glass ceiling still remains//
wat we try to gain is controlled by a higher rank//
we hide the pain, prayin for better days//
a better way, trapped in a ghetto maze//
hope it’s a faze, were stuck in housing projects//
make little profit, still locked in a urban closet//
u thought u got it, made it to the suburban area//
so much fear in ya, got u on surveillance cameras//
they stick together while we hurt our neighbors//
sell us drugs and other goods to get back their paper//
