I like it, the rhyming scheme worked well, suitable for a song yeah, "I took all the hate, and made it fuel to my fire" bit of a cliché but it fit the criteria, I just get the feeling you could come up with some seriously original metaphors...

anyway I won't go any further coz my judgement aint exactly substantied with 1000 posts and 100 battles...(later days hehe)
