I have completed the task given to me...my job is done
A few days seemed like years...was constantly on the run
I look over...see Sam hiding by a bush......what a friend
Merry and Pippin behind the pillars...up to no good again
Gandalf sits next to me...he's the grandfather I never had
Why wasn't Bilbo here..? The closest perosn I have to a Dad...
On the table of stone...sitting in the very center of the room
The small object...evil, created by Sauron...forged in Mt. Doom
The One Ring.........its evil pull brought us all here together...
Elrond is talking...deciding...what to do with it...its taking forever
Boromir stands...he requests the Ring...a weapon for Gondor
But the last time it was in a man's hands...how long was it gone for?
Strider...across the room...explains no man can wield it...
Argument...Legolas tells the name Aragorn...Boromir can't beleive it
Elrond says...it was obvious...the Ring must be destroyed
But the periless journey...is one most would want to avoid
Gimli the Dwarf...stands up...and insults Legolas the elf...
It was funny...he couldn't be taller if he stood on a shelf...
But things heat up...the whole room is in a raging debate
There is a voice inside my head...how much more can I take?
My head begans to hurt...I clench my fists and close my eyes...
The vision becomes clear...I must do it...and to everyone's surprise...
I glanced at the Ring...Sauron's voice rings again...I hate it...
I Stand up...Walk forward............................"I Will Take it...."
