as i lay me down to dream
i pray i keep my self-esteam
before i fall asleep to wake
i hope you forgive all my mistakes
without you lord im sure to break
you give so much yet do not take
you were my dad when my father wasent there
when i almost died your miracle kept me here
we've come along way in this walk together
even when im distant your there forever
and ill admit my lifes been hard
but you were always there with angels at guard
