the least you could do is to research online, read the tuitorals, and do everything you can to improve. heres a couple of pointers:

make sure you use up to 10-15 syllibles for each line
read the dictionary, newspaper, watch TV, etc, to create good and complex lines
etc

dont just rhyme some random shit: stick to your point, if you're in a battle, you need to say shit like he's wack, cant rap shit, dont talk about how you need a penis enlarger to impress girls etc, that shit dont work
