I'm a prisoner locked behind bars with battle scars
my crimes stopped me from reaching for the stars
incarcerated for actions against humanity
my cell contributes daily to my insanity
a second change wouldn't do a bit of good
no rehabilitation works like they thought it would
my crime is my birth and it mirks my worth
now i'm doomed to never ever walk the earth
it was me against the world and i lost the war
