harassed by cops, another pitfall of livin' on the block
in days old, being a nigga wud've disadvantaged myself
now wateva race u r, u best run like hell
wen u c a cop comin with his hand on his shoulder
hiding tha numberz on his badge so u cant identify him l8r
"protect and serve" ,thats wat we call stretching the truth
"seek out and kill" is more apllicable to u
wen u c us on tha streetz mindin our bizness
leave us alone, even though u cant c a witness
dusn't mean u got tha right to extinguish tha light
of youth who have it burning so bright
u dont c it, but "stop n search" gradually hurts a brotha,
deep down inside where it can b seen by no otha.
