the honesty i thought we had,
it captivated everything that i thought
i could have inside, but this had to go away
i know what happens
i've seen it all before, corruption
your thoughts , your spirit
were what i admired the most,
to be honest i've never had the thoughts of losing you
til it was finally to late and you were to far gone.
i grew up , i guess thats all i can say
matured more than i should have,
i took the negativity and used it to create
what you see here.you gave me the soul
that gave me the heart to care
you laid your head on my shoulder
and i wiped away your tears
and told you it was all going to be ok
i never showed you the dark side
that was just out of the light
the fear, i never show that and never will, because
it makes me weak , i need to be as independent as i possibly can be
you can reach for me all you want
but i'd refuse ,to be honest i dont need anything or anyone except myself
