Writers Block Text Tournament
I won’t front, the text tournament last time got a lot of hype but ended up being a slight disaster. This was due to a mixture of elements such as no shows, lack of participation with votes & odd rules. I have decided as my gift to those kids who care about text battling to create a large tournament to find the very best of text at this time. I will not participate as to show this league will be completely fair. I will not need any help from anyone else so PLEASE no matter who you are do not PM to help me to ask me I need help because I do not need it. If you really want to help me as a participant in the tourney, then please vote, show up on time & bring you’re “a game”, & even if u don’t have that skill in you please just show up & try your best.
Rules
The rules will be pretty simple. I will set up a date for you & your opponent to check in & also a date for you both to drop verses with a line amount. I will do this all by Eastern Time, although I am a UK head I’m aware most of you go by the Eastern Time in most leagues tournaments etc so to escape confusion this will be all by Eastern Time.
Battles will go up of a Tuesday & I expect your check in by Wednesday & your verse latest by Friday midnight. This does not mean you HAVE to drop Thursday because I myself prefer to be other places of a Friday night than on the net, so please feel free to drop any time with/after your check in.
Line amount. I don’t want to set a specific amount, you can sort this out with your opponent but as a guideline I would say 10 minimum & 20 maximum. I may change the rules as we get closer to the finals because for higher calibre matches we may need to see a bigger battle to determine a victor. Sort your line amount through pm’s please, do not waste thread space with

As for the whole recycling, biting, feeding I shouldn’t have to mention. But for those half wits out there these are not expectable in your battle. I am the man when it comes to catching people biting so please for your sake, don’t make me make you famous on the wall of shame. & if you yourself suspect someone of biting feel free to pm me as long as its sturdy proof for example copying a punch, not if its copying a concept (because ill have a lot of cum line reports  .

What do I need to sign up?
I’m aware we have kids here with 1000 posts but suck, whereas we have kids with 100 posts that are decent so I will vary my descicion on each battler. DROP a tryout with a link to a previous battle & I will consider whether it is or isn’t worthy for the tournament. No matter how many battles you have had or how many times I have seen you battle before DROP A FUCKING LINK coz to be honest I only read about 10 kids who battle here & its likely you aren’t one of them.
If I’ve missed anything ill update it. But for now, it should give you an idea of what I’m lookin for in this tournament. My aim would be have 64 battlers, but I don’t know if there are that many who are worthy. So for now ill aim at getting 34 people.
This here IS not a sign up thread .. it is just a warning as to what is to come & tyour thoughts. If you have any suggestions just say…I really wanna make this a good tournament for you people.
