50 won't retaliate because they don't wanna give shyne any attention. He figures if he fires back at shyne then that will make shyne's rep bigger then what it is, which it is already getting up there so he won't diss shyne to keep him from blowing up even more. The smart thing to do would be just to lay back but if he needed more fans (which he doesn't, has enough already) or just wanted to prove a point he would fire back.
