This thread is kinda weird man.. I dont think anyone shares those views on rap..
The reason rappers like chingy sell records is because 12-15 year old girls think he is the cooler then the other side of the pillow. What actually is bad, is that outsiders that arnt exposed to rap as much, think that this is what rap is all about.
See the problem is that the big record company executives wont promote singles from real rap artists as much because it is considered as a risk and anyone who knows anything about the music industry knows that they hate taking risks.. So rap is becomming more of a formula much like pop music. And whats scary is that kids are now starting to grow up listening to this poppy image of rap music and starting to re-produce it themselves.
