yes you are underground until you hit mainstream...thats the definition of underground vs mainstream...
and underground heads (the credible ones) are angry with the state of hiphop...what kinda culture should bring people together over bitches blunts and expensive material goods...thats no message at all...or people who use their music as advancement for themselves rather then for the culture...
fake hiphop is someone who is about something in songs but about something else...hidden agendas basically...
