This is my FIRST ever topical, it was in an in crew battle, it was my first so ya, bad structure and no vocab, so next time I will have better structure and vocab, but just tell me if this is enough to get in

TOPIC: FINDING OUT YOUR ADOPTED
School's over, i'm on my way to a friend's house, gonna hang out by her pool/
I get pushed into the water, as they laugh i feel like a fool, but we friends so it's cool/
So as time progresses, I call my dad to pick me up, the day has ended/
He arrives, I get into the car, see a sad look on his face, there's tension i can feel it/
Arrive home, walk in the living room, saw my mom, she had a look that was debating/
Couldn't tell whether i was in trouble or she was, I was still wondering, contemplating/
She asked me to have a seat, and said " There's something that we gotta do "/
" Me and your dad have kept a secret, but we think you're finally old enough to tell you "/
She hesitated, thought a bit, then said " Honey, you are adopted "/
" We got you at an orphanage when you were a one year old kid "/
Faint memories appear of a family that used to be, how could my real parents just abandon me?/
I'm lost in my mind, overwhelmed by a blinding anger, I can barely see/
I burst into tears and yell " how could you not have told me this before, how! "/
As I rushed to my room, i turn and shout " how the hell am i supposed to call you mom now? "/
I begin to resolve my dilema, these are the people who raised me, my real mom and i love her/
All of a sudden i start to choke, as i think " if i'm adopted, what about my sister? "/
