the ineviteable thing is that we know death haunts us
cant always win the fight with lives bullies that taunts us
where will we be in thirty years from now is the ? we ask
will we remember the suggestions given to us in our past
some will end up dead or in jail cuz they took the wrong path
trying to be clever hiding out, but forever dont seem to last
going on and on till they finally end up running out of gas
some will be mediocre vets retired and having no regrets
little will actaully taste fame living in their idol's silhouettes
