quick keystyle

i hear times a continuum; a never ending platform or unit
that keeps track of history and how we act or are moving
and each segment of that unit, i can break into fractions
seconds, minutes, or years.....and look at the face of my actions
i can rewind to my pain through the power i've sought
and witness the cloud that was surrounding my thought
but when i snap back to the moment, im bleeding with it
and i wish i could escape this second of time so i could breathe a minute
but i can't... so i slow my realities & drink to intoxicate
and numb the physicals of life and keep the mentals locked away
so as i stare through my insecurities in a home of glass
i ask my heart and my mind....how long will this moment last?
