heres a newer piece of mine...
Ayo rap was like a safety valve that I had to release/
It was the only thing that could give me inner peace/
Touching my soul with lyrical fingers I examined my pain/
I examined all that was good and all that made me insane/
I use rap as an expression and it helps with confession/
Helps me get out aggression and leave a lasting impression/
See rap is more than words and a lifestyle filled with riches/
The words are a way to heal inner wounds like stitches/
I got scars on my sole but at least the wounds have closed/
Because the problems that caused them were already exposed/
I showed people my feelings in hope to receive help from others/
The lyricists of rap were a family kinda like my brothers/
I grew up listening to real emcees like Mos Def, Kweli and Big L/
Stayed bumping a classic from Nas like It Aint Hard to Tell/
I wasnt caught up in commercial rappers cause they didnt relate/
They didnt talk about moving weight or shootin off slate(lead)/
But hearing struggles mad me think that rap was a way out/
Kinda like throwing in the towel during a title bout/
Except I wasnt giving up I was going forward for the better/
I used rap to help my sole not just to get some cheddar/
hook:
Ayo rap means a lot of Emcees like me/
Its cause with these words we spit it deals with things we see/
We use rap as a way to get out thoughts on our mind/
Just put a beat on and examine inside to see what we find/
We had great teachers...the real lyricists of hip hop/
With beats bumpin in headphones the rhymes would never stop/
we takin this back, call it an ode to history/
before the definition changed of a real mc/
rap has always been a part of my life/
sort of like a getaway to forget all my pain and strife/
I turned to rap when I was in despair/
and unlike my family it was always there/
so I grew up wit rap lookin over me/
groomin me to take the reigns in the 2 double 03/
now y'all relying on confused to spit his name, to take it back/ back to the days when rap was more than rap/
I ain't from the 215 (Philly) but i can still spit a throwback/(Mitchell & ness)
unlike otha niggas at first I wasn't accepted/
but then they learned I wasn't an emcee to be tested/
niggas accepted the fact that my style was unique/
on the low though them niggas would still sleep/

I flow with a combination of styles that I made my own/
A young King of this game like I pulled the sword out the stone/
When I first heard rap I was like they threw this dog a bone/
’Cause I knew that this was the way I was claiming my throne/
I am Confused and I can never spit the same/
A true lyricist that always stayed loyal to the rap game/
See rap people heads like us from our heads to our toes/
From shoulders to the knees and back to the nose/
Just made up of hip hop its in our blood like plasma/
Id rap till I ran out of breath like a girl running with asthma/
Rap built Knowledge and gave me what I need to advance/
This brain that I got was now giving me a fighting chance/
People felt where I came from cause I spit deep/
People felt what I spit ‘cause it was shit their mind could keep/
Me and rap will be together til the day I part/
’Cause I got bars running through my blood and to my heart/
Rap is something that most people don’t realize/
So im here to open the boards eyes/
We got two great emcees in the same crew...u can guarantee hot drops/
’Cause we turning heads like the lights flashing by the cops/

Yo it pains me everyday when I come to this site/
nobody respondin to flows or battles just thinkin of fights/
to me a real MC is more versatile/
but y'all stuck in one place like a subway turn style/
u gotta be unique and not like everyone else/
so ya CD stands out and won't just sit on the shelf/
now some of y'all is just net emcee's/
saw 8 mile and said "That's what I wanna Be"/
I’m a 2Pac fan but some things u just can't do/
so stop tryin to be like nelly and shit and just be you/
You should call me Lady VIP ‘cause I always spit fire/
I flow smoother than milk but my shit don't expire/
so next time you on the block and it's hot/
it ain't Wheezy comin through, it's my rhymes causin shock/
Infamous was strong before but we stronger now/
spittin real shit while y'all flowin like clowns/
