The lights are all off cause the power wasn't paid,
plus there's no hot water due to the same.
The manager keeps comin by, won't answer the door,
no food in the fridge cause no money for the store.
Mom's still locked up, don't know when she'll get out,
and her boyfriend just went in while my life decends.
Reflecting through my memories this was the scene,
a piece of my life at the age of fourteen.
A few years earlier it was all a different story,
mom was smoked out,choked out, but four kid's diddn't know it.
All we knew was we had to live with someone else,
