Azure streams sluggishly moistened her cheek's subtleties
with a somber complexion, she glared forlorn utterly
distraught, contemplating my decision questioning herself
though not her fault, trying to understand why id felt
discontent bound eternally to the one who’s love's unconditional
I’ll never forgive myself, our passion providing an existence filled
by unimaginable joy and desire, unraveled by lust's fires
penetrating obliviously, forever captured the moment trust expired
a liar, monogamy betrayed frayed by sharp pain beyond forgiveness
no mending of riffs or gathering the pieces only left living this
empty existence void of what completes me, vacant of purpose
without my soul mate fate seems unappealing and worthless
and the hurt sits unbearably burdening my all ready heavy heart
welling a tear loses its balance, cascading from her eyelid as she starts
to speak but pauses the agonizing words linger on her lip's creases
wistfully remembering the warm picture of ‘us’ now torn to pieces
it seemed this is could never happen, bliss compromised for what?
sobbing her gaze gushed disbelief, our ties inconceivably cut
I’m leaving you, she muttered shaking, internally bleeding I hemorrhaged
within I couldn’t accept my action, permeating the bleak image
of solitude, alone forever without the only thing that ever mattered
exuding fractured emotions, devotion through the looking glass shattered
tattered what we'd woven, our life together dangling by a thread
by me our vows ultimately tainted, though it was supposed to be death
that did us part, scared my perception of what future was left
exiled from my love an shoved in the direction of regret
swept away by the winds of betrayal, imprints of the once sublime
painfully by me, her captive heart set free…was no longer confined
to pay for the mistake id made, the answers I eventually hope to find
though for me there’s no escape, the memories remain
trapped within my mind…
