^^^^Dawg, 500 crunches sounds wonderful. But, you really shouldn't have to do that many to get your abs cut up if you work the right muscles in the right order...and that is dependent on your body and body type...
I tried for ever to get a six pack by doing crunches. They never worked. So, I finally got off the floor and did knee and leg raises to work my obliques and lower abs...Now, my abs look nice...
So, all in all, I do about 6-8 different abdominal exercises to really hit my abs from all angles...that, rather than quantity, is best for building nice abs...
now I jus gotta leave this fried chicken and potato salad alone
