hip hop matured with age, and kept me out of the cage..
and with all the rage, i spit out my whole life story..

but than we started battlin, makin fun of eachother..
spit disses out to every-one and their mothers..
than the shit got crazy, violence was trendy..
battled the wrong dude, he fired back with where he'd like to send me..
according to him i was doomed to 6 feet under..
than it started rainin lead, with lightning and thunder..
I made it out alive...but my fear is strong..
that my death will ultimately be the result of a song..
as time moved on, i started to realize some shit..
hip hop was dyin..and it was takin me with it..
see the problem today is, not that we're uncreative..
but yall can't take a joke so it's dangerous to say shit..
