Staring up at the moon, twilight inside my room..

Violence towards our own, while terrorists drop bombs..
The wrong songs, are blamed everyday without proof..
Their claiming they corrupt the minds of today’s youth..
We prey too, in silence but who would hear us under..
The media thunder, even god got a phone number..
$5 a minute, just money for government royalties..
We becoming obese, people starving in other countries..
I’m asking bluntly, for right words to make all parts unite..
Even though I know a new revolution wont start tonight..
I’m past the hype, nowadays we escape with pills..
More women are falling victim, many are raped and killed..
All hate revealed, and some get shot down who tried..
To stop the rise of depressed teens confiding in suicide..
So as I write the last letter addressed to god, feeling hopeless..
For a world slowly dying, and constantly told we’re soulless..
