personnaly hip hop in my view can be broken down to:

Lyricists
DJ
BeatBoxing
Graphing
Breaking
An out of the common world style (talk, walk, look type things)
Music in general
and a few other small tidbits...

But all in all, every person has a little "Hip Hop" in them, even if all they do is put hearts as the dots for their "i"s...
