by gaining that empty feeling

that's lost beneath the stealing
revealing all you thought to be
important had grown distorted
in light of the pride inside
that in time defines this courtship

She’s a jagged edge
to be well rounded never fit her
yet I’m determined to complete the puzzle
though I’ve never seen the picture

coupled with subtle patterns
