Love is Forever

Tingles down my spine, as I took a shot of the divine
Lifted me to heaven, as intoxication controlled my mind
Took a drag from imagination, and exhaled my fantasies
She emerged from the shadows, walked up next to me
Just as sweet as could be, we had no complications
Jumped over limitations then I fell into desperation
Drove straight to the point, then made a right decision
She said "Take a U-turn, time to follow my encryptions"
I told her that I loved her, "Your name if I'm allowed?"
Told my own and then we stowed, away on heavens clouds
Landed in a cheap Motel, clothes evaporated onto hooks
One night stand dancing in my head, as the furniture shook
So much work and energy spent, alcohol still in my system
Passed out from the vapors, of love and their victims
Woke up bound and gagged, in a musty smelling basement
Blood stains on ground, splashed over the cold pavement
She towered in front of me, evil glistened in her eyes
Kidnapping possessive demon, who caught another prize
Smirking at me as I sat, helplessly handcuffed to a chair
My attempts to talk, were muffled by thick depressing air
Bells were ringing in my head, love? I guess I misheard
She moved face to face, and then she softly whispered:
“A hit and run? Nope sorry, that just isn’t the game I play
Our love will be forever” as she turned and walked away
