This will work for some basic hacks and such, but if his virus is a trojan or a worm or some shit worse than you run the risk of deleting only part of the virus, and in some cases it may be the only visible part. This has happened to me before, I've deleted stuff and succesfully gotten rid of it, but this doesn't work for alot of the shit you pick up off Kazza. First follow through with my steps and then wait and see what the people from Norton suggest.
