ey but seriously, i wouldn't say he got owned, it was somebody mad at what he said. that guy was obviously offended by what nas said, but, a lot of people feel that way. A lot of celebrities also. Lets be for real now, you guys prolly believe in no racism and date whateva race but a lot of people dont. Namely, our parents. Maybe not yours, but i'll admit that mine do. many believe that blacks should stick together in marriage... one thing nas is pointing out. I see where nas is coming from with this... just because he got a few facts wrong about emmys doesnt change what he said. The people on UPN and WB are terrible. There are no serious black shows one either channel. those shows have nothing positive about blacks on them. them fools are just taking retarded black roles. and as far as tiger woods, he sold himself out saying that he was only asian, I'd say he's a sell-out. why is it that one person brings this up and say's nas is "owned" and now everybody is copying what he said. he wasnt owned... since this guy O'Reilly or whateva, wants to talk about having false information- Stokely Carmichael was not a black panther, Kwame Ture (what he changed his name to) never officially became a panther... despite what O'Kelly said. Nas knew what he was saying... he knew exactly what he was saying... this Kelly character failed to point out that at the end of the track, NAs satirizes his own "sellout factor" when he had some people ask him what he was doing for the black community. Nas blatently avoided the question, showing that he understands that he is not the most active person helping the community either. In other words, Nas knew what the fuck he was doing... he wasnt "owned"
plus, "owned" is a dumb ass phrase... yall should say somethin else.
