shit, i started trying to act completely independent at age 10. me and like 3 of my friends would ask my neighbors if we could do any jobs for them for money so we could go eat. neighbors told my parent and they've trusted me and let me do my thing since then.

so what nos said was true, be independent and dont use your parents as a crutch, ask for help as little as possible...shit, dont even ask for rides anywhere
