Im from N.Y- I think Luda is nice, Scarface is a hip hop legend, and I like some of Lil Wayne's stuff cuz he has a real original flavor and some skills... I cant stand anything Ive heard from lil flip or basically anything else from the south cuz it all sounds super dumbed down- like nursery rhymes to a beat-- almost like hip hop never evolved down there like it did in other places of the country so it still lacks alot of the characteristics of the newer shit- lyrically wise I mean... word. Im sure theres plenty talented emcees from the south, but as a group I think it lacks more than any other area I've heard. with the exception of wherever bone thugs is from cuz I cant stand them fuckerz either.... (runs and hides from omb).
