Explanation:

Both had some good punches, but to me some of illmatics fell completely flat, like the last 4 lines or so for the most part. I felt the ending on that was pretty weak. If illma kept on track of his first half, he woulda gotten my vote. But while Mage didnt completely rock him, he kept the structure and was solid throughout, plus

"you're like my date after the prom "no, you will go down""

was pretty good.
