bookie: designated person who records all official wagers (how much money and who is involved) it is all kept public but cannont be aultered after the public. just viewd. that way each individual wager or bet or case is delt with quickly and sensibly. eliminates confusion... "NO i never placed that bet" -
the bookie is sent all the cash before the battle, and if you win the bet, you get your money back plus more, depends on the percentage of ppl invloved in the bet.
