I dreamed black dreams the night we kissed
The memory of your lips lingers cold and crisp
Dawdling flames that curdle my soul
Banishing me to hell as we lost control
Yet nothing could melt the ice you incased me with
Twilight was captured within your eyes
They led me nigh to where nightmares lie
You kissed my lids and I was blind
Darkness I feared (or was it the light?)
Vaguely, I heard myself scream a thousand times
You demolished my weakness with your touch
My heart grew hard with the blackest love
And then forgetting what it meant to care,
I dropped my morals and left them there
We devoured the stars, until darkness had overcome
