i understand the laws and shit but there is this kid up here in the tc who raped a mom infront of her kid .. and he is linked to 17 other sexual assaults and he only gets 16 years.. which he will only prolly serve 5 or 6... and then a kid gets caught sell'n half a 8th and they lock him down for 20+ for possesion ... there were a few other factors all were drug related.... but seriously what is wrong with our country? locking up petty drug dealers longer than a rapist.. i mean if you ask me one poses way more of a threat to society than the other....

St. Paul (AP) A teenager who pleaded guilty to raping a student in her dormitory room at Concordia University was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Wednesday.

Rashade Coleman had pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct and burglary in the dorm-room attack at the St. Paul school in October 2003.

He is a former quarterback of the Highland Park High School football team. He was 16 years old at the time of the attack.

Ramsey County District Judge Edward Cleary said Coleman must serve at least 10 years and 10 months of the sentence before he is eligible for release.

Coleman also faces a June 7 trial in Dakota County on charges that he broke into a West St. Paul house and raped a woman in front of her 4-year-old son last June. He was charged as an adult in both rape cases.
