They definately need to decrease the growth of their population in some way but the one child rule may be a little drastic. More information concerning birth control (not in all but certainly in some areas), benefits for families with less children and such are possibilities. I'm not a politician here but I just feel that a rule that makes people kill their own children or give them away, is over the top. It cannot be accepted according to me but we cannot deny there is a serious population problem over there.
