^ you'll never make great music if you're that one-sided and don't listen to anything but one genre..a great artist/musician appreciates all types of music, not just one...you'll never reach your fullest potential limitting yourself like that...open your mind to different things...only kinda music I don't listen to is country music and things like it, and hard rock shit like Korn and NIN..like I said, you'll never be great at what you do until you have an appreciation for what someone else does, though it's different from what YOU do...
